Fundraising and Development Manager

21 hours per week

Salary: £37,450 per annum pro rata

Fixed term contract with possibilities of extension

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls, exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs and facing barriers to social protection.

Around 5,000 women use our services every year, benefitting from practical and emotional support, learning new skills and improving their own opportunities. We strive to provide essential tools for women to empower themselves in their pursuit of personal and social change, and to carry out evidence-based campaign and policy work.

The Fundraising and Development Manager will work closely with the Director and Operations Manager to further develop, plan and implement LAWRS’ fundraising strategy, ensuring the sustainability of the organisation and its ability to continue successfully reaching its aims.

 

The post holder will devise a strategic fundraising, training and development plan for the organisation and implement it in accordance to business and operational plans, policies, procedures, audit requirements, accreditations and quality standards, and cross-team working needs.

Operations Manager

The post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of LAWRS frontline services ensuring efficient processes and effective line management for our high-quality project delivery and in accordance to business and training and development plans, policies, procedures and quality standards, cross-team working, accreditations and audits requirements.

Counselling and Psychotherapy Coordinator

35 hours per week

Salary: £29,650 per annum pro rata

Our work is dedicated to supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls, exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and facing barriers to social protection.

The women using LAWRS Counselling and psychotherapy service benefit from practical and emotional support, learn new skills and improve their own opportunities. We strive to provide essential tools for women to empower themselves in their pursuit of personal and social change.

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating the provision of LAWRS specialist Counselling and Psychotherapy service and group work sessions for Latin American women and girls 16+, adhering to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and ensuring that appropriate service and quality standards, as well as legal requirements are fulfilled.

The Counselling Coordinator will provide clinical management to counsellors within the service. The role includes two days per week of counselling practice.
