Carolina:
"After finishing university I was trying to get a bit more experience before venturing into a post-graduate degree. Volunteering gave me a chance to make an informed decision on my future plans and gave me the experience needed to apply to the degrees I was interested in. "
LAWRS’ mission is to provide tools for growth to empower Latin American women in the UK to pursue personal and social change.
We focus on meeting the needs, both immediate and long term, of women affected by poverty and abuse.
We offer advice, advocacy, information and counselling services in a personalised, confidential and impartial manner. All our services are free and in Spanish and Portuguese.
