How your money can support our mission
£10 could pay for two children to be looked after in our crèche service while their Mum receives vital support and assistance.
£25 could pay for a workshop for 15 women to develop leadership skills in their community
£50 could pay for 10 psychotherapy sessions to help women to overcome trauma and abuse

The event to be held in the grand setting of London’s Living Room will take place in September, and will be by invitation only. More information to be released soon.
LAWRS support the Latin Americans Recognition Campaign and believe that as an ethnicity, it is vital to maintain the term ‘Latin American’ – in recognition of our geographical, cultural, political and linguistic identity and independence from our colonial past.
Volunteers’ Week 1st – 7th June
15 women attended our first event on ‘volunteering in the UK’: evidencing that a lack of work experience in this country is a barrier to career progression, despite having already qualified in their home countries.
The same day we celebrated the contribution of the 37 fantastic Latin American women who make up our volunteer team. It’s thanks to their support that so many women can improve their own opportunities in this country.

Our Services
LAWRS’ mission is to provide tools for growth to empower Latin American women in the UK to pursue personal and social change.
We focus on meeting the needs, both immediate and long term, of women affected by poverty and abuse.
We offer advice, advocacy, information and counselling services in a personalised, confidential and impartial manner. All our services are free and in Spanish and Portuguese.

Monday's DROP IN
Our clients can get advice without appointment every MONDAY from 10 am to 1pm.
English Classes
Classes are free for Latin American women beginners.
Timetable: Every Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30am - 12:30am and 1:30pm-3:30pm
Upcoming Training Sessions
LAWRS also provides useful workshops, tranining sessions and talks for our users and members as a way of supporting our advice and guidance services and they are all FREE
