Volunteers Week

"The project has helped me to
develop more efficient processes
for coordinating volunteers"

Tertulia’s volunteering and good practice bank cuts out the “middle man” and gives you the space to advertise your volunteering opportunities, free of charge.

Why use Tertulia?

Tertulia was created to make a central meeting point for Latin American organisations to advertise volunteer roles centrally. Tertulia aims to make volunteering easier for our community – both for Latin Americans to volunteer and to know what’s out there, and for organisations to have an easy to use presence on the web, to recruit more volunteers from within the community.

Advertise for Volunteers

Tertulia’s volunteering and good practice bank lends a helping hand for all your volunteer recruitment, development and evaluation needs. You can register your organisation and even put up adverts free of charge for volunteer roles. We do all the legwork and publicity for Tertulia, so all you need to do is wait for a volunteer to contact you. You can even use your organisational listing as a ‘continuous recruitment tool’ and let volunteers contact you all year round.   >>Register your organisation

Mentoring, Tools and Downloads

We run a mentoring programme for volunteer managers and people with responsibility for volunteers, to offer support and orientation. Our tools and downloads page includes information like example volunteer forms, how to write a policy, or whom to contact for advice on a whole host of legal or practical issues. We’re here for all Latin American organisations in the UK, but anyone can use our best practice page to find culturally sensitive documents and practices on volunteer management.
